THE AMERICANS ARE GOING TO CANADA
MAY 23 – 27, 2024

SCOPE/OLYMPIA is an international exchange program that brings together Canadian and American Scouts and Scouters for an extended weekend of fun program and fellowship. This experience began in 1967 when the Canadians visited the Baden-Powell District.  It has continued with the Canadian Scouts coming to the US and Scouts from the Cradle of Liberty Council going to Canada for the past 56 years.

This year, the AMERICANS are going to Canada!

Where: Woodland Trails Scout Camp – Scouts Canada

When:  May 23-27, 2024

Who:  Arrow of Lights (Scouts in 5th grade) / Scouts BSA / Venturers / Explorers / Scouters

What:

  • 5/23 –  Thursday – American Scouts traveling north.
  • 5/26 –  Friday – Adventure Day at Canada’s Wonderland.
  • 5/27-28 –  Saturday/Sunday – Two full days of program and activities
  • 5/29 –  Monday –  American Scouts depart for home

Cost:

Full Weekend (Thursday-Monday) – $410

Cost Includes:

  • All transportation, food, lodging, and programs provided

Program expected to Include, but not limited to:

– Adventure Day at Canada’s Wonderland(Friday)
– Archery
– Dutch Oven Cooking
– STEM activities including rockets, drones, robots
– Pioneering skills
– Climbing
– Handicraft
– Inflatables
– MUCH, MUCH MORE!!
